23Off To See The Mouse
Tagged Under : Disney, surprise
Saturday we are going to Disney. The kids don’t know. They know they are getting a surprise, but have no idea what the surprise is. I have to say I’m proud of Aryanna for handling it so well. Normally she would be incessantly asking for clues or constantly talking about it, trying to get me to accidently fess up to what it is. (a tactic that has worked tremendously in the past) At any rate, she has left it alone and I was even able to manipulate a faster bed time because of the big secret.
Me: “We have to get rest and go right to bed so we can get up early for our ‘big secret’ tomorrow.”
She turned over and mumbled, “OK. Can you atleast scratch my back for me?”
I scratched for her. She was out in less than 5 minutes.
Let me just add here, it is wonderful to have a family member that works for Disney. We get in at a substantial discount. Free! Woooohoooo!! Oh come on! Tickets are about $80 per person to get in this place nowadays. A burger alone is like $10.00 in there. Well…Ok…I know I’m exaggerating. I’m just saying, it’s pricier than eating outside of the park. We’re packing a cooler so we only have to buy dinner on the way home. We’ll save our money for the over priced souveniers.
Isn’t that the fun of going to those kinds of places. I’ll be sure to take pictures for you guys.
